Application
The Mason Topics Program is open to all entering freshmen. Priority will be given, however, to students whose high school records indicate that they are academically motivated and prepared for the Program. Students who plan to live off-campus should complete the on-line application and submit it on-line by June 1, 2008. Other interested students who plan to live on-campus should fill out the on-line Mason Topics application that is part of their regular residence hall application, which is due by May 1 in order to be guaranteed on-campus housing. Students who will be living on-campus should also choose the Living / Learning Floor option on their Residence Hall applications.

If you have applied to Mason Topics or are merely interested in the program, you should plan to attend one of the Summer Orientation and Registration Sessions at George Mason University. If you have not already registered for Mason Topics, you will then be able to do so on a space-available basis. You will also meet other students and faculty in the program, plan your schedule with a Mason Topics advisor, and register for all of your other classes. Be sure to register for a summer orientation at http://orientation.gmu.edu/freshman.htm.
