We recommend that students who expect to receive college credit for a particular course through AP, IB, or Dual Enrollment credit choose a topic that does not include that course. For example, students anticipating college credt for English should register for the communication links of Science, Technology, and Society or Classical Presence, because these sequences do not require English 101: Composition.
Please choose your first choice topic (Click on a topic for more information): American Experience (English and Government) Classical Presence (Communication and History) Classical Presence (English and History) Global Village (English and History) Global Village (English and Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution) Science, Technology, and Society (Communication and Information Technology) Science, Technology, and Society (Engineering and English) Briefly describe your interest in your chosen topic. I wish to apply for admission to the Mason Topics Program. I understand that, if accepted by Mason Topics, I will be enrolled in two classes for fall 2008. If I decide not to participate in Mason Topics or not to attend George Mason University, it is my responsibility to drop these classes.
